Tezu, Jun 10: A coordination meeting with regards to the educational scenario of the District was held today at DC Conference Hall, Tezu under the chairmanship of the Shashvat Saurabh, Deputy Commissioner Lohit. 
All the stakeholders from Primary School level to Higher Secondary level participated in the meeting including the representatives of the, CBOs, student union etc. During the meeting it was decided that admission process to be complete seamlessly by June 15 so that academic session can start from 16th June 2024.
During the meeting it was decided that there should be coordination between different level of the school education system from Anganwadi Centre to the Higher secondary so that the learning process becomes comprehensive and effective.
Addressing the meeting the DC said that all teachers need to fulfill their responsibilities diligently. He said that no teacher should go on leave without permission. It is important that quality of education is improved and for that there is a need to work on the foundational literacy specially in primary education, he added. He also spoke on the need to improve the board result in the coming years. 
Then he informed that special classes for compartmental exams have been started for the benefit of the students. For improving the educational scenario of the district, the coordination and cooperation of all the stakeholders is needed and not only board exams but enhancing the overall quality of education should be our focus, he added.
The meeting was attended by Kunal Yadav ADC Tezu, Tumngam Nyodu DDSE Lohit, Abraham Modi CO, All Head of the Schools, DPC, BRCs/CRCs and Representatives of CALSOM, AMSU, DSU. DIPRO
