Aalo, Jul 26: West Siang Deputy Commissioner Mamu Hage chaired a meeting today to address the pressing issue of plastic waste management in Aalo Town.
Er. Torik Ori, JE, UD & Housing, Aalo prepared and delivered a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation covering on plastic waste generation in the West Siang headquarters including its management etc.
The attendees unanimously resolved to reissue the executive order on plastic ban, reconstitute a flying squad for the inspection of plastic bags and other plastic items within the town and enforce penalties for violators in accordance with the plastic waste management rules.
