CHANGLANG, Jul 26:  A District Level Sports Development meeting for Changlang District was held at the Mini Secretariat under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Vishal Sah on Friday.
While presiding over the meeting, DC Changlang, emphasized the need for a Multipurpose Indoor Stadium at Changlang Headquarters. He also urged the Presidents and Secretaries of various sports association to encourage more youth participation in sports.
Earlier, a warm reception was accorded to the Secretary General of the Arunachal Olympic Association (AOA), Bamang Tago, and his team by the members of the Changlang District Olympic Association (TDOA). During his interaction with association members of various disciplines, Tago assured them of all kinds of help and support from his end and promised to prioritize their concerns at higher levels. He also emphasised to make proper guidelines for the association and to work actively in collaboration with the District Administration.
Janwang Khimnhun, General Secretary of the Changlang District Olympic Association appealed to the authority of the district to organise the Mini Olympics in Changlang District.
