ITANAGAR, May 11:In order to take feedback regarding creation of Autonomous District Councils, the executive members of Student United Movement of All Arunachal led by its president Tagru Tame along with the Chairman Issue ADC, Hangam Koje met the chiefs of three political parties—Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress and Peoples’ Party of Arunachal (PPA) here in Itanagar on May 9 last.

During the meetings, the union implored them to leave political differences for the sake of coming generation citing example of other states where ADCs turned out to be a big failure.

SUMAA informed in its release that all three chiefs assured to discuss the matter at their party level.

In addition, the union also met Secretary General, All Arunachal Pradesh Panchayat Parishad (AAPPP) Sangha Taigh and also discussed the subject with the head of Political Science Department, Dr. Nani Bath, who is known for his vast knowledge about Autonomous District Councils (ADCs) and its operation in North Eastern States.

 SUMAA further announced to continue their movement seeking rollback of ADCs.
