Daporijo, Aug 26 : Upper Subansiri Deputy Commissioner Tasso Gambo today chaired  the meeting of the District Task Force for Immunization on Routine Immunization (RI) and the HPV Vaccination Campaign 2026.
The meeting was convened with the objective of reviewing and strengthening the implementation of the Routine Immunization programme and the HPV Vaccination Campaign 2026 in the district.
The meeting commenced with the welcome and keynote address by Dr. Tade Rago, DMO I/C, followed by a detailed presentation on Routine Immunization and HPV Vaccination 2026 by Dr. Anshul, RRT-WHO. The presentation highlighted key aspects of the immunization programme and the importance of coordinated efforts for effective implementation of the HPV vaccination campaign.
An open discussion was subsequently held with the participation of officials and stakeholders present in the meeting. Various issues pertaining to immunization, community mobilisation, inter-departmental coordination and effective implementation of the vaccination campaign were discussed.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner,  Tasso Gambo, emphasised the need for coordinated efforts among all concerned departments and stakeholders to ensure effective outreach and successful implementation of the immunization programmes across the district. He stressed the importance of reaching eligible beneficiaries, creating awareness among communities and ensuring that no eligible beneficiary is left behind.
