PANGIN, May 11:As part of the ongoing intensive Aadhar Enrolment exercise in Siang District, an urgent coordination meeting of all the BEOs, BRCCs, Project Coordinators of SSA, RMSA, MDM, RUSA, Shakshar Bharat and all the Principals and Headmasters of educational institutions of the District was convened today at DC office conference hall, Pangin with special focus on achieving cent percent Enrolment of all students in the district.

In her address, Mibang said that the objective of the meeting was to chalk out the modus operandi for intensive Enrolment of students of all the educational institutions in the district so as to enable them to avail all the benefits of central and state government schemes targeted for school children and to ensure that no student is bereft of these benefits.

She stressed on the need for compulsory possession of Aadhar Cards by students to check bogus beneficiaries of school stipends and scholarships while covering the genuine beneficiaries before the targeted deadline of 30thJune 2017 as set by the Government of India.

The DDSE while giving an elaborate presentation on the Phase wise Action Plan for enrolment of all the students in the district apprised that this activity would involve a total of around 140 schools for which he sought all-out cooperation and active participation of all the stakeholders in order to complete the task within the given time frame positively.
