The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) is challenging the decision of the Central Government to grant citizenship to Chakma and Hajong Refugees living in Arunachal Pradesh and also challenged enrollment of their names in the Electoral Roll in the State of Arunachal Pradesh without deciding the Citizenship status.

‘When the matter is Sub-judice in the  Supreme Court, the Union of India must not take hasty decision to grant citizenship to these Refugees.
