Modern connectivity and satellite communications are making the vast expanse of our nation more and more integrated and assimilated which is ideal for the development of our national fraternity. Collateral to it runs our cultural diversity, which plays a very important role in making our globalizing world colourful, interesting and variety full. Let us, therefore, with pride and zeal, recall our roots and keep our customs, dialects and festive practices going, the Governor further exhorted.
The Governor felicitated the elders of the Idu Mishmi people for keeping their socio-cultural traditions strong and vibrant and expressed his confidence that the contemporary and coming generations of the society will continue to keep their ethos flourishing.

“Ours is a distinct state with several tribes and communities residing side by side for ages and maintaining their own unique indigenous culture and traditions. Despite our varied diversity, we as Arunachalees are united and take pride in our indigenous cultural heritage. I believe Reh would prove a major catalyst towards achieving this goal” the message added further.
