ITANAGAR, May 29:  After a brief respite, the Confederation of Service Association of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) has once again stepped up pressure accusing the state government of indifference towards their long pending demands, and has threatened to resume its indefinite Non-cooperation movement from June 28 next.

Speaking to reporters at press club today, President CoSAAP, Pate Marik said ‘Since last few months, CoSAAP is demanding its basic rights but the state government is not giving any heed except hollow assurances which has compelled us to resume our Non-cooperation movement from July 28 next.’

CoSAAP is demanding implementation of FR-56 rule pertaining to minimum retirement age at 60 years, modification of NOC system for promotion and retirement as per the suggestion of Chief Secretary, implementation of medical attendance rule, NOC for every citizen and others.

Further, condemning the recent extortion attempt case against Director of Audit and Pension, Marik informed that the association is going to hold a mass rally in the twin capital on May 31 next at Naharlagun and Itanagar. He further requested all government servants and other likeminded people to participate in the rally to show solidarity against anti-social elements and atrocities against government servants.
