ITANAGAR, Dec 15: The Joint Organization Movement of Arunachal (JOMA), a conglomeration of 47 pressure groups has demanded the immediate resignation of Chief Minister Pema Khandu within 15 days, accusing him of various charges of corruption and siphoning of government funds.
Addressing a press conference, Chairman JOMA,  Taw Paul stated that the JOMA was formed following the lackadaisical attitude of the state government led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu towards the suffering of the people of the state.  Various organizations have submitted different representations related to grievances of the common people but CM is not paying any heed, he said.
Paul has asked details of the upfront money collected from various MoUs signed with Hydro Power Developers. He also questioned the CM for his incapability to refrain the shifting of NEEPCO head office and others.
Earlier, President All Arunachal Border Students Union, Tana Sunny Tara also informed that CM has failed to respond to their demands like the creation of Border Task Force, a full-fledged Department to look after Boundary issues, deployment of police force in boundary areas and others.
President Nyishi ethnic students of Arunachal (NESA),Biri Chatum said the CM has failed to respond to its demands like furnishing of financial year budget and expenditure of 2020 to 2021, immediate relocation of Chakma-Hajong migrants, immediate solution of boundary issue with Assam and others.
 JOMA has further threatened to launch a massive democratic movement if Chief Minister Pema Khandu does not step down from the prestigious post within 15 days.
