Bordumsa, Oct 21: The All Arunachal Pradesh Student's Union general secretary, Tobom Dai once again reiterated the union's stand that the Chakma Hajong community should abide by the law of the land and gracefully accept the decision of the state and central government  on the subject of their relocation under the ambit of the Indian constitution.
Dai also objected to numerous Chakma organizations based outside Arunachal interfering in the internal matter of the state.Regarding the statement made by Chakma Development Foundation of India (CDFI) on census and terming it as racial profiling, the AAPSU GS called it nothing but an act of deliberate obstruction by the CDFI to derail the whole government process citing human rights angle.
It is nothing but a normal government exercise to determine the illegal settlers that have come after 1964-69, when the first batch of refugees were temporarily settled in the state and everything cannot be as per the whims and fancies of Chakmas, he said. Dai was speaking at the first edition of Goju youth welfare football tournament with the theme "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan" which culminated on Wednesday at Goju football ground Bordumsa in Changlang district amidst attendance of thousands of cheering crowd.

The final match was evenly contested between Namsai soccer club and Duliajan football club representing neighbouring state of Assam. The match ended in a nail biting finish with the winner being decided in a penalty shootout.Namsai Soccer club came out triumphant with the score reading 5-4 goal.
