PASIGHAT, Dec 9: “Discipline is an essential part of our life and helps to correct, improve personality and moral character with the change in behavioral pattern of the individual. Parents, elders and teachers are the first persons to introduce the sense of discipline to the children and ensures the smooth flow of life without putting hindrance to the individual in achieving ambitions in life”. This was stated by the IAF Group Captain (Rtd), Mohonto Panging while addressing the students, teachers and parents on the anniversary cum parents meet of Green Valley School, Pasighat held on Dec-8 last.  
Panging who graced the occasion as Chief Guest also stated that a society without proper discipline encourages the unsocial activities such as violence and bad behavior. We all want to see our kids going towards success which is only possible through proper education and discipline, he said.
Earlier, Guest of Honour Dr. KC Mishra, Principal of Siang Royal B.Ed. College, Pasighat in his deliberation has opined that the importance of higher education has become increased in getting good job and position. Proper education creates lots of ways to go ahead in the future making one strong mentally, socially and intellectually.
School Principal Anil TG presented a brief report on progress and achievement of the school. President Green Valley Welfare Society Opang Tayeng and Chairman of the school managing committee Dr. Tapi Ering also spoke and shared their views.
