ITANAGAR, Jul 15: A webinar titled “Motivating the Police Force in the times of Covid-19” was organized at the Police Training Centre, Banderdewa on Wednesday which was attended by all the District SSPs, COs of IRBN and APBN and SP(F&ES).
State DGP R.P. Upadhyaya while delivering a lecture on the topic emphasized on motivating the force during the prevailing Covid times where there are additional responsibilities along with the routine workload. While underscoring the welfare and safety aspects of the force, he opined that proper coordination must be maintained between the SSPs and their subordinates to put up effective responses to the new challenges.
The DGP also pointed out that SSPs must ensure barracks are up to the mark and police personnel do not face hardships for want of basic amenities like water, electricity, toilets etc. PRO APP
