ITANAGAR, Nov 22: A state level science exhibition, themed “innovations for sustainable growth” was organized by the directorate of secondary education on Wednesday last at the auditorium of government higher secondary school, Itanagar. The exhibition was attended by young scientists from at least 26 different schools across the state.
Director of Higher and technical education, Tayek Talom who attended as chief guest in the day long programme appreciated the performance of students and encouraged them to carry their endeavour with resolute determination to achieve their goal. He also stressed on generating awareness among every students about sustainable development and environment degradation.
Director of secondary Education, Gania Leij encouraged the students to excel in this field through sincerity, determination and dedication and emphasized on the benefits of organizing such exhibitions in schools.
Sudit Tamang, Govt. higher secondary school, Sinchung, Tabom Nilling, VKV Kuporijo and Mahish Nath,VKV, Nirjuli were adjudged 1st , 2nd and 3rd winners of the competition.
