ITANAGAR, Nov 27: District Health Society, Papum Pare conducted District Rubella Vaccination Campaign Workshop today at Yupia under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare Tai Kaye.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman Kaye advised all participants to carry out the nationally important health programme which is being closely monitored through video-conference time to time by the concern Ministry of Government of India.

While, taking review on the IMI 2^nd round in the district, he asked all participants to sincerely take up Measles-Rubella Campaign which shall be started from February 2018, while covering all 9 months to 15 years of children. He also informed that a circular shall be issued to DDSE and DD (ICDS) for proper implementation of Measles-Rubella campaign in the District.

 Earlier, Dr. J Ado DRCHO had given Power Point Presentation  on MI-2 round and informed   achievement of 92 % of 0-2 years of age and 52 % achievement for pregnant women during 2^nd round IMI in the district. The 3^rd round of IMI shall again start fromDecember 7-14 next.
