BOMDILA, Dec 6: In the daylong Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak, New India Manthan programme held at district headquarters Bomdila today, the Supervising Officer Prince Dhawan, DC ICC cum Special Secretary (IT), observed that West Kameng having a good track record was one of the best performing districts in the state when it came to implementation of the key centrally sponsored schemes and CM’s flagship programmes.

However, the bar needs to be raised and every department and individual concerned should begin thinking out of the box and walk the extra mile if the benefits of the various welfare schemes of the Centre and the state government are to reach the commonest of the common people at the grassroot level, he added.

Special Secretary (IT) also dealt at length on the various features of the Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak initiative of the central government and made power point presentations on Digital Initiatives of Arunachal (DIA).

He hoped that for the convenience and benefit of the people, the IT & e-governance initiatives launched at the state capital is implemented in the district for easier, hassle free and paperless governance.

Local Legislator cum chief advisor to Chief Minister, Japu Deru called upon the HoDs, the administrative officers and the PRI members to collectively share the responsibility and to make an all out effort to implement the various flagship programmes of the central and the state governments. We have made the promise and now it is the time to deliver, he said.

Member – ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak’ Maling Gombu dealing at length on the various CSS and PM’s flagship programmes called upon the officers to use their ingenuity for the welfare of the people and all round development of the area. He also suggested that the officers’ air out the lacunae’s in any project, if any, with corrective measures for consideration at the appropriate level.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Sonal Swaroop in her welcome address earlier said that ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’- attainment through resolve, aimed at good governance. It envisages the country free from poverty, corruption, terrorism, communalism, casteism and uncleanliness. Using technology, it unites the country into a string, she added.

Various departments made their presentations and the impediments faced were deliberated upon.

The Sankalp Se Siddhi team would be inspecting various schools, health centers, Anganwadi centers and other projects related on Thursday at Bomdila, Rupa and Bhalukpong.

Among others, all the administrative officers, HoDs, ZPC, ZPMs and Anchal Chairpersons of the district attended the day long orientation programme conducted by the department of IT & Communications in collaboration with the district administration. DIPRO
