AALO, Jul 20: The Gangkak Women Self Help Group led by Yayum Gangkak, Director Sirurijo Tea Garden was on a whirlwind exposure tour  to various places of the country like Delhi, Agra and other historical and commercial locations. This women’s SHG is one of the most vibrant groups pursuing many activities like traditional weaving, plantation, gardening, animal rearing and various self-sustenance activities for past many years.

Gangkak revealed that the exposure tour was conducted for the hardworking womenfolk to break the age old isolation and to keep them abreast with lifestyles, development and economic condition of the people in the national mainstream.
