ITANAGAR, Nov 20:The capital police on Monday recovered an unidentified body of a male, which was found lying in a decomposed state near a jungle in between Upper Jully and Upper C Sector, Itanagar.

 According to a police source, the semi- decomposed body was recovered after a local alerted the police this morning. Later, a police team was sent to inspect the place of occurrence (PoC).

“The body was found half buried in the sand near a stream below the residence of Parliamentary Secretary (RWD) and Lumla MLA, Jambey Tashi. The body has been taken to the RK Mission Hospital for further identification,” the source disclosed.

When contacted, SP Capital, Sagar Singh Kalsi informed that a probe has been launched. “An unnatural death case has been registered at Itanagar police station to unearth the truth behind the death,” he disclosed.
