DCM reviews hydropower projects to strengthen state energy roadmap

PASIGHAT, Dec 27: To take stock of ongoing construction of stadium at General Ground, alongside Advance Landing Ground, Pasighat East MLA cum Parliamentary Secretary for Disaster Management, Kaling Moyong, DC Pasighat, Tamiyo Tatak, Chief Councilor, PMC, Kaling Doruk and others inspected the construction site today.
On inspection they found the construction work satisfactory as work of 70% have been completed despite the financial release of only 60%. However, Moyong urged the construction agency M/s Kakum Enterprise and executing agency of Urban Development to complete the work within 2018.
While Project Manager of the constructing agency said that, the actual completion period as per contract agreement is 2019, but we are ahead of the fixed time and doing our best to commission it by March-April 2018.
While laying emphasis on early completion of the project which will benefit the people especially in conducting and hosting major sporting events, Moyong also said that, he is going to pursue the Chief Minister for additional funds for Power Sub-Station, drainage construction, and additional parking place and for synthetic flooring of the ground etc.
Meanwhile, in a separate visit to Poklek river bridge construction along Pasighat Ledun Tene Road today, Moyong directed the concern agency to speed up the work. Earlier in the morning, MLA Moyong and DC Tatak inspected the auditorium of IGJ Govt. Hr. Sec. School Pasighat where temporary office for Smart City foundation stone laying ceremony will function from now on.
