KHONSA, Aug 14:The long pending UD Guest House at Khonsa was finally inaugurated today by Wanglam Sawin, MLA cum Chairman of Arunachal Pradesh Medicinal Plant Board in presence of MLA Tirong Aboh, and newly joined Deputy Commissioner of Tirap district, PN Thungon.            

The project construction was sanctioned under 10% Lump sum provision for development of NE states including Sikkim under MOUD Govt. of India for a total project cost of Rs. 420.00 Lakhs and was executed by the department of UD & Housing, Khonsa division.

           The property has been leased for a period of three years to WJ Enterprises, Khonsa on Public Private Partnership.              

New Deputy Commissioner, PN Thungon who joined today, in his first public appearance congratulated the UD department for successfully completing the infrastructure and also hoped for better cooperation from all the officers and the public in running the district.

MLA Tirong Aboh also announced to sanction Rs. 2 Lakhs for furnishing of the guest house.
