ITANAGAR, Aug 7:Two houses were completely burnt to ashes and one RCC building was partially damaged in a major fire mishap that took place in the wee hours at Nerba Colony, Itanagar today.

The fire was so massive that it devoured almost all the household belongings including 2 wheelers parked nearby and a small shop.

However fire fighters stopped the fire from spreading in the locality. No casualty was reported and the actual reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Upon being informed about the incident, IMC Councillor, Yumlam Minu immediately rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation.

He appealed to the government to provide immediate relief and rehabilitation package to the affected families.
