DEHRADUN/ITANAGAR Dec 3: In an unfortunate incident, two students from Arunachal studying in Dehradun died in a road accident today. The students have been identified as Gyati Sumpi, 21 and Chimar Basar, 22, both students of B.Sc Agriculture. 

‘Their families have been informed and I also spoke to SP Dehradun for all kind of assistance,’ informed IGP Robin Hibu. The bodies have been kept in Dehradun Civil Hospital, he added.

Driver of the truck who run-over the scooter in which the two students were travelling has been arrested.

SP Dehradun has assigned a special team to investigate the case on top priority. I am also monitoring it, added Hibu in his social media site.
