PASIGHAT, Oct 9:  Plalying in the final of 3rd Lik Moyong Football Tournament 2017 at General Ground of Mirem village under Bilat circle on Saturday, Thomas Taying Football club (TTFC) became the new champions by beating Down Town FC by huge margin of 6-1.

The tournament was organized by Mirem Sports Association (MSA) where winner, runner up and third place were awarded with cash prize, certificates and trophies. Bilat FC was adjudged in 3rd place and Mirem Taying from Down Town FC was Best Player, Lego Nokar from TTFC was Best Defender, Fanklin Taki from TTFC was Highest Scorer, Newton Taloh from TTFC as Best Goalkeeper and Lingka FC was awarded the Best Fair Play team of the tournament.

Lok Sabha MP, Ninong Ering graced the day as Chief Guest, while Er. Mukling Tayeng, EE, RWD graced as Guest of honour and Nada Apa, DSO (Sport) as Special Invitee.
