ITANAGAR, Sep 18:The Itanagar traffic wardens (ITW) reportedly haven’t received last two months salary due to delay by the Chief Estate Officer resulting in hue and cry among the wardens.

In a complaint letter addressed to Chief Secretary, the ITW has stated that despite submission of several letters requesting to disburse the salaries, the ADM cum CEO is maintaining silence over the issue and there is no response from his office till date.

Requesting CS to intervene, the ITW asserted that due to non-release of salary, the wardens are facing hardships.

Further reiterating its earlier demands, the ITW has requested CS to direct the CEO to immediately release their pending salaries and call a meeting with wardens to resolve their grievances at the earliest.
