KHONSA, Aug 8:A pre-PLP (Pre-potential linked Credit Plan) 2018-19 meeting cum workshop on GoAP Flagship programs viz  Deen Dayal Upadhayay Sevavalamban Yojana, Deen Dayal Upadhayay Bunkar Yojana, CM’s Krishi Rin Yojana, District Innovation & Challenge Fund, CM’s Adarsh Gram Yojana, Ujala Yojana etc was conducted here with administrative officers, line departments and Branch Managers of various banks operating in the district with District Development Manager, NABARD.

DDM, NABARD Kamal Roy briefed the operative mechanism evolved to provide self employment to the unemployed youths by the central government and the state through these flagship programmes by power point presentation. These programmes are a part of “Stand up India” and “Start up India” initiative launched by the BJP Government at the Centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Tirap Techu Aran, vehemently appealed all the line departments to work out modalities to facilitate the beneficiaries by helping them out in preparing DPR and other pre-requisite documents required to avail the benefits of these flagship programme. The DC further emphasized that the genuine and aspiring entrepreneurs and poor beneficiaries should not be cornered and stressed that the maximum benefit must percolate to the lowest strata.
