KHONSA, Aug 11:The recent torrential rainfall has damaged various PMGSY roads in Tirap District including the most important PMGSY-PH-7 roads in between EAC Headquarters, Lazu to Assam Rifles Camp near Noglo village, which is considered the lifeline of nine villages.

Another important Circle Headquarters, the Dadam road that connects villages like Huakan, Dadam, Upper Chinkoi, Lower Chinkoi, Laho, Old Kothin, Moktowa has been reportedly completely blocked near Tirathju Hydel due to heavy landslide and falling of huge trees.

However the PMGSY-PH-7 roads have been made motorable today by EE (RWD), Er. Basar led by Er. Likwang Lowang, AE (RWD) and blockades in several locations in Dadam areas have been successfully restored within 24 hours by RWD.

Meanwhile, the EE (RWD) Er K. Basar has appreciated local MLA Tirong Aboh for extending full support in the restoration of blocked roads in his constituency.
