ITANAGAR, Oct 8: Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (APSLSA) in collaboration with Arunachal Pradesh Women Welfare Society and Women and Child Development Department organised painting cum drawing competition at Government Higher Secondary School, DFO Colony Banderdewa today.

Earlier, Member Secretary, State Legal Services Authority Budi Habung briefed the students on the objectives of the programme along with various existing right for children.

Speaking on the occasion, President APPWS Bengia Dipti spoke on issues of child labour and its abuse.

 Meanwhile documentaries and short films on child labour and child rights were screened.

Among others, Ex-Chairperson State Commission for Women, Gumri  Ringu, Secretary, APPWS- Kani Nada Maling, attended among others.

In a similar programme on Saturday last, at least 263 students of Govt Higher Secondary School, Kangkarnallah, Naharlagun participated in the legal awareness programme organized by APSLSA.
