SHILLONG/ITANGAR, Jan 5: Leaders of National People’s Party (NPP) Arunachal Unit on Friday attended its party rally at Shillong, which was organized in connection with the forth coming assembly election scheduled to be held this coming February at Meghalaya.
The state unit was led State President of NPP, Gicho Kabak, Vice-Presidents, Anok Wangsa, former Minister; Nima Sangey Saling , where National President of NPP, Conrad K Sangma, MP, Joy Kumar Singh, Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur, James Sangma along with other members were also present. Five Congress MLAs, one UDP MLA and two independent MLAs recently resigned from their party also joined to NPP at the rally.
At the sidelines of the rally, State leaders of NPP had a party meeting, in which National President, Conrad K Sangma and others encouraged the visiting team and assured all possible support to strengthen the party in Arunachal Pradesh.
