ITANAGAR, Nov 19:A condolence meeting was organised on Sunday at BJP State Office to pay homage to late Ngurang Pinch, Former MLA & Chairman of Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture Marketing Board (APAMB).
The meeting was attended by State BJP President, Tapir Gao, Parliamentary Secretary (Food & Civil Supplies) Tage Taki, Parliamentary Secretary (AHV & DD) Tamar Murtem, State Vice President Tame Phassang, State BJP General Secretary Jarpum Gamlin, members of all the morchas and other senior Karyakartas.
Speaking on the occasion, State BJP Vice President, Tame Phassang shared the life story of late Pinch from his early life to his rise as MLA. He termed the death of Pinch as a great loss for the people 14th Doimukh Assembly Constituency and particularly for the Ngurang clan of which he was the most prominent figure.
Long time friend and colleague of late Pinch, Tage Taki, described him as a visionary leader with foresight and having mass appeal among the public of his area. He threw light on all the developmental works late Ngurang Pinch carried out as an MLA and called him a development oriented leader. Taki expressed that in his death, BJP lost a very good Karyakarta and the Nyishi community lost one of its best leaders.
Gao recalled Pinch as a very hardworking person who rose from the grassroots level to MLA by virtue of his hard work. He opined that his death is an irreparable loss for BJP and for Arunachal Pradesh.
The National People’s Party (NPP) has condoled the demise of Ngurang Pinch and termed his death as a great loss for the state.State President, Gicho Kabak and Vice-President & Spokesperson, Nima Sangey Saling in a press release said that late Pinch will always be remembered by the people for his humble nature and honesty.
