DCM reviews hydropower projects to strengthen state energy roadmap
ITANAGAR, Dec 21:
The central executives members of All Arunachal Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers' Association (CEC, AASSATA) led by its President Tarak Agung Tarh today met Chief Minister Pema Khandu taking the grievances of SSA teachers' including to discuss issues to revamp the education sector.
In the meeting, which was also attended by Chief Secretary Satya Gopal, the visiting team highlighted about deplorable condition of 2030 Primary Schools and 1003 Upper Primary Schools run by SSA teachers under DEE and tabled the legitimate demands of the entire SSA teachers before the CM.
Among few grievances of SSA teachers which were highlighted before CM was exemption of APTET/ CTET for in-service SSA teacher, Batch wise regularization and creation of at least one post against each school to secure sincere and dedicated teachers, to provide 6 months maternity leave for the female teachers etc.
After patient hearing, the CM promised to approve the enhancement of SSA teachers’ salary at par with regular teachers and place it before the next cabinet meeting. He also promised to look into their other genuine demands, informed the SSA teachers association in a press release.
