ITANAGAR, Oct 29: The Aalo Town Public Welfare & Development Society (ATPWDS) today threatened to go ahead with its second phase of 36-hour bandh call from October 30 next.
The decision comes after talks with the District Administration, Divisional Commissioner West, DIG Arunachal Pradesh and representatives from TK Engineering Consortium failed to yield any concrete results.
In a press statement, Chairman ATPWDS Kento Ete opined that there is total trust deficit with the TK Engineering Consortium Ltd as many times the company has befooled the people of Aalo by giving false assurance and has done nothing for execution of work and maintenance of Tai to Gabu stretch of Aalo- Bam road.
The society also cautioned of launching 3rd phase of bandh call if the executing company or administration fails to give any concrete decision before November 7 next.
