ITANAGAR, Nov 3: The Bengia Welfare Society (BWS) has condemned the assault on its clan member Dr Bengia Nyer without any provocation by unknown miscreant. The BWS further urged the state police to immediately apprehend the culprits involved in the physical assault which has caused serious injuries to the victim.

The incident occurred on October 31and related to road rage. The matter was reported to the OC PS Itanagar through a written FIR by the victim Dr Bengia Nyer S/o Bengia Tabb, President NACWS but the culprits are yet to be arrested by the police. As such, the culprit needs to be arrested at the earliest to deter victims and their families from recourse to vengeful actions, stated BWS in its release.

While asserting road rage as a major problem in the state capital, BWS opined that unless we put a check on such incidents we can't expect peace and security in the capital complex.
