ITANAGAR, Dec 26: The officials of department of social justice, empowerment and tribal affairs (SJETA) on Tuesday visited Poma village under Sangdupota circle to assess progress of ongoing income generating projects namely establishment of mixed horticulture and Tribal bamboo crafts. Both the project is being funded by the department.

The team lead by secretary SJETA Madhu K Garg includes director SJETA Yumlam Kaha. The duo inspected the horticulture gardens and interacted with the beneficiaries. Secretary Garg expressed satisfaction with the implementation of horticulture scheme and urged the farmers to make proper use of centrally sponsored scheme fund and to take benefit of such schemes. The duo also interacted with Panchayat leaders of the area. The Anchal Samiti Member of Poma village Techi Ana was also present on the occasion.
