NAHARLAGUN, Jan 4: The Tagin Community celebrated ‘Si-Donyi’ with chanting of ceremonial hymns by local priest at Si-Donyi ground Naharlagun today.

Hundreds of members residing in the capital complex joined the celebration with full traditional attires being organized by the Capital Complex Si-Donyi festival Celebration Committee from January 4-9 next.

Celebration committee Vice Chairman Taniya Soki giving an insight into the festival said ‘It is purely based on culture and tradition where members worship for the wellbeing, comfort, peace and prosperity of humanity.’

The weeklong celebration will also witness sporting and cultural events.
