DCM reviews hydropower projects to strengthen state energy roadmap
YUPIA, Dec 20:
Ex-gratia of Rs.56 Lakhs was released by the government of Arunachal Pradesh today to the victims of the Laptap landslide incident which occurred on July 11 earlier this year claiming 14 lives.
Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare, Tai Kaye handed over the cheques amounting to Rupees 4 lakh per victim to the Next of Kins— Tana Kakir, Tana Topu, Tana Maha, Tana Nan, Tana Raju and Tana Takum.
It is to be mentioned that Rs.28 lakhs @ rate of 2 Lakhs to the victims have been handed by the Prime Minister Office, Government of India under Prime Minister ex-gratia relief fund in the recent past.
With this the central and the state government have fully fulfilled ex-gratia payment. Circle Officer Toru, Khoda Bath and DDMO In-charge Y.Jerang made the arrangements and oversaw the whole process.
