YUPIA, Sep 11:In continuation of its democratic movement against government seeking early release of its pending salaries, the Arunachal Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers’ Association (CEC, ARMSATA) today organized a mass peaceful Dharna outside DDSE and DC office Yupia.

  The agitating teachers are demanding immediate disbursement of five months’ salary from April to August 2017. Similar dharna was observed by ARMSATA district Unit at their respective DDSE and DC office at Tawang, Bomdila, Yupia, Ziro, Palin, Koloriang, Daporijo, Yinkiong, Pasighat, Alo, Roing, Changlang, Namsai, Tezu and Hawai etc.

Confirming successful observance in fifteen districts of the state, the association in a release has affirmed to continue their movements by launching third phase in the form of indefinite pen down strike from September 14 next until their demands were fulfilled by the government.
