RONO HILLS, Nov 20:The Rajiv Gandhi University held a condolence meeting mourning the demise of former MLA Ngurang Pinch at its premises today.

The condolence meeting was attended all staffers and students including the Vice-Chancellor.

Expressing shock at the tragedy, the Registrar remembered him as a well-wisher and friend of the University, eminent social worker and a good human being, who rendered valuable service to the people of Arunachal Pradesh in various capacities.

The first Bus Waiting Shed near Main Auditorium of the university was donated by late Pinch. As a mark of respect, the University remained closed for the rest of the day.
