ITANAGAR, Aug 28:The Arunachal Bullet Club (ABC) in collaboration with Royal Siang Riders, 30’ degree north, and The Gliding Piranhas are all set to host the 9th North East Riders meet -2017, at Rengging in East Siang District, from November 11 next . 

Various adventure sports events like power boating, river rafting and many more will be conducted during the two day event. More than 1500 riders from the NE region, mainland India and abroad are expected to participate in the meet. 

Addressing a press conference, ABC Chief, Dingwang Wangham said that it is not only going to be a simple meet of all riders club across the country, but we are trying to give riders from outside a glimpse of our unique tribal life experiences.

“Most interesting about the NERM-2017, is that we are trying to observe this year’s meet with a motto “No Plastic products”,  in order to create awareness about the impact of plastics on the environment and health,” he added while dwelling on other crowded pulling aspects of the event.

Royal Siang Riders, Chief, Jobomchang Mengu said “Besides giving an opportunity to the locals for sustainable use of available natural resources, we want to create a platform for exchange the cultural values and ideas between our people and those with diverse background.”

Disclosing that  they have tied up with the state Tourism Department to make the event a successful one, Mengu said we are putting all out effort to make it more impressive and inclusive than its previous editions.

“We encourage everyone owning a Royal Enfield bike to attend the event,” he enthused.
