YUPIA, Nov 17: Arunachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB), programme of distribution of TV sets to the registered workers of Papum Pare District was launched by the Deputy Commissioner Tai Kaye today at Panchayat Conference hall, Yupia.

Chairman APB&OCWWB, Jalley Sonam, while sharing his experiences said that he is looking forward to work more for the welfare of the workers. He informed that ambitious schemes like housing loan facility for registered workers will be taken up effectively in days to come.

He also thanked Deputy Commissioner Tai Kaye for providing all logistic support in shifting RO office at Yupia and said that  it  will facilitate the workers of the district in availing all the facilities.
The Labour Commissioner, O Darung said that the department is set to implement strict rules and regulations to check the performance of the workers.  
 
Under APB&OCWWB initiative for providing financial help for higher education to the children of workers, three youngsters received cheques today.
