Governor presents Governor’s Citation to 11 Assam Rifles

ITANAGAR, Jan 27:
On the happy occasion of the Republic Day, Governor BD Minister and First Lady of the State Neelam Misra hosted 'At Home' function for the distinguished citizens, Ex-servicemen, school children, NCC cadets, Bharat Scouts and Guides, social workers, educationists, intellectuals, senior citizens, sportspersons of the State at Raj Bhavan lawns on Republic Day.
The invitees from all walks of life attended the function. While greeting the guests, the Governor and the State first lady shared the joy of the Day. As part of the daylong Republic Day celebrations of 26th January, the young invitees happily clicked individual snaps, group snaps and selfies with the Governor and the First Lady.
The Itanagar Raj Bhavan was specially decorated with plants and flowers to welcome the invitees. Northern lawns of the Raj Bhavan wore festive look with tri colour festooned at various enclosures. Students from different schools of the Capital City turned up in their traditional attires and made the event colourful.
The 'At Home' function began with the fine play of the National Anthem by the Arunachal Pradesh Police band from Police Training Center, Banderdewa.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Speaker of State Legislative Assembly TN Thongdok, members of the State cabinet, Chief Secretary Satya Gopal, Sandeep Goel, IPS and other senior officials of the Government along with their better halves were present at the function.
