Itanagar, Jan 29: Arunachal Pradesh Raj Bhavan organised the live screening of the 7th edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ in the General Bipin Rawat Hall of Raj Bhavan, Itanagar on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the students and teachers from different parts of the country, including a teacher from Arunachal Pradesh.
State Minister of Education, Er. Taba Tedir, Director in-charge, Secondary Education Tanyang Tatak along with a large number of school students, teachers and guardians from various schools of Itanagar Capital Region, including Private Schools participated in the programme.
Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd.), who is on an official tour to Madhya Pradesh in his message on the occasion exhorted the students to stay focused, stay motivated, and stay true to themselves. He advised them to believe in their abilities, trust in their hard work, have faith in their dreams and embrace curiosity, learning, and the journey ahead with an open heart and a determined mind.
The Governor in his message said that ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ is an incredible platform where all Indians come together to celebrate the spirit of learning and growth and it is having a huge impact in enhancing the educational excellence in the country. He expressed sincere gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi on behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh for his initiative and personal participation.
Education Minister Taba Tedir informed that Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 has a participation of 205.62 lakh students through video conference, 14.93 lakh teachers and 5.69 lakh parents, including 4000 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. He also informed that 43508 students in Arunachal Pradesh are going to appear in 2024 Class X and Class XII examinations and wished them his good wishes.
Tedir advised the students for adequate rest/sleep, physical activities and Yoga to address any challenge, daily self-revision of classroom teaching and cautioned against excessive use of mobile sets. He urged the teachers to assist their students through extra classes and tuitions.
The Education Minister emphasised on ‘Atal Thinking’ and appropriate use of ‘Artificial Intelligence’. He called upon the students, teachers and guardians for their collective effort to improve the passing percentage. 
Secretary to Governor Darade Bhaskar also spoke on the occasion.
