KHONSA, Dec 29: Adviser to CM Wanglin Lowangdong attended the golden jubilee celebration of Upper Primary School, Chasa on Friday. Also present was DC Tirap PN Thungon, ZPC Sontung  Bangsia and DDSE Pubi Lombi among others.

Congratulating the people of Chasa village for the milestone, Lowangdong emphasized on importance of education particularly in Tirap, Changlang and Longding region stating that due to lack of University for higher education in the three districts,  students are unable to continue their further studies for B.Ed and other technical course etc, as most of the students are from poor economic background.

 Lowangdong said that education is the only key of knowledge which make quality of persons to climb in new height for every success, he stated that establishment of educational institution in the TCL region is a welcome step and must be appreciated by all.

 He also announced Rs. 50 lakhs for construction of infrastructure for Upper Primary School Chasa under  SIDF/DoTCL  fund from 2018 financial year.
