ITANAGAR, Jul 20: Electricity supply from Ranganadi Hydro Electric Project (RHEP-Ziro) to several districts will be disrupted completely or partially during day time from July 25 to 28 next to facilitate restoration work of a damaged tower.

 Kamle, Upper Subansiri, West Siang, Siang, Upper Siang, East Siang, Lower Siang, Lower Dibang Valley, Lohit and Namsai are the districts which will be affected by the power disruption.

This is due to shutdown of the transmission line to carry out maintenance work to restore tower no 57 which was damaged by cyclonic storm on March 6 last. The 146^th OCC of NERPC today approved the shutdown on request of Power department.

Informing this, the executive engineer, State Load Despatch Centre, transmission division-ii, Nangkong Perme in an official release requested consumers to bear the inconveniences with the Department until supply line is fully restored.
