PASIGHAT, Dec 19: In a very befitting manner the people of Pasighat led by Adi Baane Kebang East Siang Unit gave a warm reception back home to Alar Dupak, Arunachal Idol Season-2 winner here this afternoon.

Dupak was accompanied by three other top 5 finalists—Miss Yami Puri from Upper Subansiri, Tenzin Choepel from Tawang, Majo D. Lendo from Tirbin, Lower Siang including Lenzing Doming from the centurion town who also reached top seven.

Dupak was given the much expected warm reception right from Ruksin gate by ABK East Siang team led by Talut Siram and others. The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) members also gave him a warm reception at Jonai.

On reaching home town Pasighat, team Adi Baane Kebang and Women Against Social Evils presented bouquet to Alar and his team with traditional Adi ‘Tapet’.

While appealing his friends and well-wishers ‘Say no to drugs and IMFL’ Alar Dupak who was seemingly overwhelmed with the huge reception presented two numbers for the cheering crowd.
