ITANAGAR, Nov 1: Green Arunachal Foundation (GAF) has condemned the state government’s plan to hand over the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences to a private enterprise/NGO,.

‘Reportedly the Chief Medical Superintendent of TRIHMS has given seven days to the staff of the institute to decide whether they are in support of the decision in handing over the state hospital to private hands or not, ’ claimed Chairman GAF Takam Tatung. He further asserted that, the Pema Khandu government should have taken the opinion of the people for whom the hospital is meant for. GAF has also condemned the fake appointment of 300 Multi Purpose Workers (MPW) in the Health Department through unfair means. The foundation has demanded a thorough investigation into the fake appointment scam by Tsewang Gyatso, Drug Inspector, who is also a relative of the Chief Minister.
