ITANAGAR, Nov 1:Claiming that 4 laning of NH-415 in the twin capital cities is not according to the notification issued by Secretary, Land Management on March last year, the all Itanagar Youth Welfare Association (AIYWA) has urged the Chief Minister to direct the concern authority and the PWD department to adhere to the order.

Widening work is being restricted to only 12meters whereas it was clearly written in the order that extension of Right of Way (RoW) should be 30 meters in the built up area, it said in a release.

In a representation addressed to the Chief Minister, it also claimed that highway cutting in few locations was executed in complete violation of the said notification.

It further requested the CM to constitute a third party monitoring and vigilance team to keep strict vigil on the executing agencies to check any mismanagement of central fund and ensure timely completion.
