UA Minister inspects burial ground, focuses on maintenance and improvement
ITANAGAR, Jun 28: The North East Human Rights Organization (NEHRO) Arunachal Pradesh in its representation to Chief Secretary has requested to issue directives to all the state officials including
district administration to deal with people’s affairs sensitively, resolve their grievances and to keep away from red-tapism.
In its press communiqué, NEHRO claimed that one has to wait at least one year to obtain individual Land possession certificate (LPC ) from East Siang District Administration and in such similar cases the Deputy Commissioner, Namsai is reportedly harassing the public by not issuing land allotment order since 2009 despite completion of all the formalities. It is also alleged that the District Administration Namsai took four years to complete a proposal for creation of a new Administrative Circle headquarters at Jaipur,
asserted NEHRO.
Such inordinate delays are clear indications of red tapism and a major factor of corruption, stated NEHRO (AP) in its press statement.
