YUPIA, Nov 20:New LPG distributorship online computerized draw was conducted here at DC office Yupia today by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). The online draw was previously conducted in eleven circles like Mengio, Pangin, Ruksin, Hayuliang, Namsai, Geku etc.

Chairing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare District,Tai Kaye administered the online draw process under the guidance of IOC officials and announced the winners of the draw.

The initiative is part of the Government of India to promote digital India movement and to bring more transparency and accountability in the selection process and Oil marketing companies (OMCs) are undertaking the selection of LPG distribution through online draw process.

Director, Food and Civil Supplies GoAP Liyon Borang, SDO Yupia  LBodong, officials from IOC were present during the process.
