ITANAGAR, Aug 20: Parliamentary Secretary for Sports & Youth Affairs Nyamar Karbak on Saturday called upon the HoDs and officers of government departments for proper monitoring of various schemes sanctioned for the area development.

He said this while chairing the maiden coordination meeting with HoDs and officers of 27-Liromoba (ST) Assembly Constituency in the office chamber of ADC Kamba, West Siang District. The coordination meeting was convened to discuss about various developmental activities under 27-Liromoba Constituency and to gather first-hand information on confronting issues related to development prospects of the area.

While responding to the grievances and challenges being faced by the HoDs to implement the projects sanctioned under SADA/RIDF/NEC/RE/PMGSY, the MLA assured to streamline the work culture of public and asked the officers to work without any fear of nepotism or favouritism and not to compromise with the quality of works.

The MLA also asked the officers to stay in their posting places for utmost public conveniences. He asked ADC Yomcha, ADC Kamba and EAC Liromoba to report if any officer/staff is not discharging assigned duties for necessary disciplinary action as per service rule. 

Rujum Raksap, ADC Yomcha, apprised that there is an urgent need of doctors at CHC, Yomcha, vehicle for police station Yomcha and vehicle for ADC office.

Swetika Sachan, ADC Kamba also apprised that boys hostel GHSS, Kamba needs immediate repairing, construction of new toilet septic tanks for school and hostel, re-electrification of school, new water connection for both boys and girls hostel and shortage of textbooks. She also informed that many teachers are transferred without any reliever, and requested the MLA for immediate posting of doctor in CHC Kamba. She also apprised the urgent need of construction of type-IV quarter for EAC and CO, Kamba.  

Further, she requested the MLA to take up the matter with competent authority for providing vehicles to EAC and CO posted in Kamba ADC Hq and new vehicle for police station Kamba.

After giving a patient hearing to the grievances placed before him by the HoDs, Karbak assured to take up all the matter with government level, and he finalized that coordination meeting shall be conducted in every 6 months and fixed next meeting at Yomcha ADC Hq.

The MLA further directed all the HoDs to adopt one village.
