GERUKAMUKH, Oct 7:

 

As part of the ongoing Senior Citizens’ Week, Subansiri Lower HE Project of NHPC Ltd today felicitated around 50 elderly people from the Project vicinity. In a function organized at NHPC Campus, Senior Citizens from the nearby villages were invited to the Project and felicitated by Sh. Rakesh, Executive Director, Subansiri Lower HE Project.

Prior to that, a health check-up camp was also arranged for the elderly in the Project hospital where basic health check-up were done and medicine provided by a dedicated team of NHPC doctors.

Speaking on the occasion, Executive Director, Sh Rakesh applauded the efforts and dedications of our elders in making society a better place to live in. He sought their blessings for the well-being of NHPC and society as a whole.

Senior Citizens’ Week was observed at Subansiri Lower Project from October 1-7 wherein various programme for the elders have been organized. Besides, Spandan teams (NHPC sponsored  mobile medical units engaged in the rural areas) have been instructed to give special focus on the elderly patients.
